Important School Update
It is with great sadness that Frederick K.C. Price III Christian Schools will close at the end of the 2025–2026 school year: June 10, 2026, for grades K–12, and June 30, 2026, for Preschool. After four decades of dedicated service to the South Los Angeles community, the school faces financial and enrollment challenges that make continued operation unsustainable.
We remain committed to finishing the year strong. All students will complete their current grade-level instruction, and end-of-year events, including graduations, promotions, performances, and field trips, will proceed as planned. Our priority is to ensure that every student receives the education, guidance, and support they need during these remaining months.
Supporting Families Through the Transition
Families will continue to have access to:
Student records and transcripts: To request transcripts or test scores, please submit a completed Transcript Request Form to Ms. Kelly Stamps at KStamps@PriceSchools.org or Ms. Emlyn Smith at ESmith@PriceSchools.org.
Transcript Request Forms are available in the Main Office.
Please allow approximately two (2) weeks for processing once the completed form has been received.
Frederick K.C. Price III Christian Schools remains in good standing with ACSI and WASC, and all transcripts reflect fully accredited coursework.
Recommendations: Teacher recommendations can be requested directly from your child’s teachers. Administrator recommendations may be requested through the appropriate department head.
We understand that families will need time to make plans for the next academic year. While we are not currently providing a formal referral list, we encourage parents to explore enrollment options as soon as possible to ensure a smooth transition for their children.
Honoring 40 Years of Impact
Over the past four decades, Frederick K.C. Price III Christian Schools has educated thousands of students, many of whom have gone on to attend University of California and California State University campuses, Ivy League schools, and other distinguished institutions nationwide. Our graduates have pursued careers in medicine, law, education, professional sports, and more. Many began their educational journey with us as preschoolers.
We are deeply proud of what has been accomplished and of the thousands of young people whose lives have been shaped at Price Christian Schools. Though this is a difficult moment, our community will walk through the remainder of this school year together with dignity, gratitude, and care.
