Preparing Students for College, Life, and Purpose

Price High School offers a college-preparatory education grounded in Christian values within a small, supportive learning environment. Our high school experience is intentionally designed to help students grow academically, spiritually, and personally through rigorous coursework, leadership opportunities, and meaningful relationships with faculty and staff.

Academic Excellence

Our standards-based instruction challenges students to think critically and excel across subject areas. We offer a range of Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses, primarily in English, with more options under development. Small class sizes allow for meaningful student-teacher relationships, individualized instruction, and personalized academic support.

Students attend six class periods each day and have daily access to free tutoring from teachers after school. Courses are semester-based, and students earn credits toward graduation through a structured yet flexible curriculum.

College Credit Opportunities

Price High School offers opportunities for students to earn college credit through dual enrollment partnerships, including courses offered in collaboration with Los Angeles Southwest College.

Beginning in 9th grade, eligible students may enroll in approved college-level courses that can fulfill high school graduation requirements while allowing them to begin building a college transcript.

Dual enrollment availability and course options vary by year and are based on student readiness, scheduling, and partner institution offerings.

Electives and Enrichment

Elective offerings at Price High School are designed to be flexible and responsive to student interest, allowing the program to evolve as the high school grows.

Recent and ongoing elective offerings may include:

  • Creative writing

  • Financial literacy

  • Technical Theatre

Students also have opportunities to participate in clubs and school-based activities that support leadership development, collaboration, and community engagement.

When scheduling allows, students may assist in on-campus support roles, gaining practical experience and responsibility within the school community.

Spiritual Development

Faith is at the heart of everything we do. Students receive daily Bible instruction and attend weekly chapel services led by the pastoral staff at Crenshaw Christian Center. Biblical integration is woven into each subject area, helping students develop a Christ-centered worldview and moral foundation.

Arts and Creativity

In an era when many schools have reduced arts programming, Price High School continues to value creative expression as an essential part of student development. Our visual and performing arts program gives students the opportunity to develop their creativity and talents through:

  • Dramatic and recording arts, where students write, perform, and produce original work

  • Visual arts, including drawing, painting, and mixed media

  • Creative writing and student publications

These opportunities allow students to explore their interests, build confidence, and express their unique perspectives.

ATHLETIC PROGRAM

Price High School is in an important season of athletic growth. Our athletic program is being intentionally rebuilt to provide student-athletes with opportunities to develop skills, leadership, and character within a Christ-centered environment.

Building on a longstanding tradition of student participation and school pride, our Athletic Director is leading efforts to expand high school sports offerings and develop sustainable programs aligned with enrollment and league guidelines.

Planned and emerging sports may include football, basketball, volleyball, track and field, soccer, baseball, and additional offerings based on student interest.

Athletic offerings and team participation are dependent on enrollment, league requirements, and seasonal readiness. Families are encouraged to connect directly with Admissions to learn more about current and developing athletic opportunities.

Campus Life and Support

Students use Chromebooks and lockers regularly and enjoy a spacious campus with green areas and a cafeteria. The school day runs from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM and includes a morning nutrition break and lunch.

Students benefit from a supportive campus environment where teachers and administrators work closely with families to monitor academic progress and student well-being. High school students are encouraged to develop independence, responsibility, and self-advocacy as part of their preparation for college and life beyond the classroom.
