The Middle School Experience
Our college preparatory journey continues through a dynamic middle school program designed to develop confident, capable, and Christ-centered students. With rigorous academics, daily spiritual formation, and meaningful electives and extracurriculars, we guide students through the pivotal middle school years while equipping them to thrive in high school and beyond.
Academics Rooted in Excellence
At Price, students switch classes across six subject periods daily, promoting independence and time management while learning from dedicated educators in each discipline. Classes are capped at 20 students, ensuring personal attention and support in every room. Our academic program includes:
Bible: Taught using a Christ-centered curriculum that grounds students in scripture and spiritual identity.
English Language Arts: Developing reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills.
Mathematics: Standards-aligned instruction that builds strong problem-solvers.
Science: Inquiry-based learning aligned with Next Gen Science Standards.
Social Studies: Emphasizing historical thinking, civic literacy, and cultural understanding.
Physical Education: Daily PE to promote health, teamwork, and fitness.
Students use Chromebooks daily to support digital literacy and engagement.

Middle schoolers choose from a variety of semester-based electives that rotate each semester, including:

Media Production
Each student participates in daily PE and can explore their passions while developing new skills.
Spiritual Development
Students attend weekly chapel led by Crenshaw Christian Center’s youth pastor, exploring God’s Word through relevant messages and worship. Biblical principles are woven throughout the school day, and teachers help students navigate academic, social, and spiritual growth.
