Graduate Learning Outcomes

As a college preparatory institution, Price strives to cultivate the following outcomes and expectations in its graduates.

Graduates of Frederick K.C. Price III Christian Schools:

  1. Demonstrate strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, preparing them for success in higher education and beyond.

  2. Develop a deep understanding of their faith and the ability to integrate biblical principles into their daily lives and decision-making processes.

  3. Exhibit leadership qualities, including effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to inspire and motivate others within their communities.

  4. Understand the importance of community service and civic engagement, actively contributing to society as compassionate and responsible citizens.

  5. Cultivate a passion for learning, fostering curiosity and adaptability that encourages them to seek knowledge and personal growth throughout their lives.

Graduation Requirements

Graduation requirements are designed to align with California public university admission standards, including A–G course requirements, to support eligibility for admission to UC and CSU campuses. Course offerings and sequences may be adjusted as needed based on student enrollment and course availability.

B. Additional Requirements (20% of Total Credits)

  1. Physical Education: 2 years (20 credits)

  2. Health: 1 quarter (5 credits)

  3. Computer Science: 1 year (10 credits)

  4. Bible: 4 years (40 credits)

  5. Senior Writing: 2 quarters (10 credits)

  6. Community Service: 100 hours by the end of the 3rd quarter of senior year

A. Core Subjects (80% of Total Credits)

  1. Social Studies: 3 years (30 credits)

  2. English: 4 years (40 credits)

  3. Mathematics: 3 years (30 credits)

  4. Science: 2 years (20 credits)

  5. Foreign Language: 2 years (20 credits)

  6. Visual/Performing Arts: 1 year (10 credits)

  7. College Prep Electives: 1 year (10 credits) (Offerings vary by year)
